Description
Golden Glow’s clear glass soy candle is hand-poured at our Birkenhead factory in Auckland using 100% soy wax. Each candle comes in a diamond-cut clear glass jar with a matching lid and cotton wick, available in six scents: Vanilla, Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood, French Pear, and Black Raspberry & Vanilla.
Why Soy Wax
Soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin and holds fragrance well throughout the life of the candle. Our soy candles use a single cotton wick sized to the jar diameter — no mushrooming, minimal soot, and an even melt pool that works through the wax without tunnelling.
Burn Time
Approximately 45 hours per candle. To get the full burn time, let the melt pool reach the edge of the glass on the first burn. This sets the burn pattern for every subsequent use and prevents wax being left on the walls of the jar.
Candle Care
- Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn
- Burn in sessions of 3–4 hours maximum
- Keep away from draughts, which cause uneven burning and soot
- Discontinue use when 10mm of wax remains in the jar
